So, annual vacation of relaxing successfully completed, now to notch up the training. A few curve balls however – a slipped disc in the neck from rugby and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists. One wrist fixed and within 4 days, 2 * 10k runs and a 2 mile tyre sprint completed. Hopefully not too much of a distraction. Second wrist to be fixed next week. Had a great present from my wife this weekend – two new car tyres to help ‘up’ the training. The desire to get to pulling 3 car tyres for 5 hours is still there, so I will try to step up a gear next week. Training aim to get to 10 times per week this week – 5 runs, 3 rows and 2 swims. Let’s see how we do……..
